MOTAT is bringing nights of festive fun and dazzling lights back for another year.

Festive cheer and magic moments come together at the Museum of Transport and Technology again this Christmas. MOTAT Great North Road's heritage digs will be transformed by spectacular light displays, live music, entertainment and outdoor games over 12 nights in December.
Bring the whole family along for some festive fun. Hop on a tram ride as you take in the sparkling lights of the museum and giant Christmas tree. You'll then be able to snap a photo with Santa Claus and sing along as local choirs and West City Band perform classic carols and seasonal tunes. There will of course be some delightful kai and sweet treats to see you through the night.
Christmas Lights runs from 8–11pm on select nights throughout the month, between Tuesday, December 10 to Monday, December 23. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children and free for little ones under five. They won't be sold at the door, so be sure to book your spot as the event sold out last year.
