Overview

After releasing two acclaimed albums - including the "iTunes NZ Rock Album of the Year 2012" - homegrown indie-rock legends Clap Clap Riot are back in the studio working on their third full-length project. With production courtesy of Thomas Healey (Tiny Ruins, Popstrangers) this promises to be a continuation of Clap Clap's signature high energy sound and will most likely see the band touring and playing sets at the likes of Rhythm and Vines, the Big Day Out and Splore.

Taking a break from recording Clap Clap Riot will be playing two exclusive and intimate shows at Ponsonby's Golden Dawn and the Auckland Old Folks Association (all-ages). Expect to hear all of the band's classic bangers and enjoy a sneak peek into their new sound as they try out material off the upcoming album. So for a chance to witness Kiwi rock royalty up close and be soothed by the dulcet tones of front man Stephen Heard - pop into Golden Dawn, grab a pint and get amongst.
