Clay Works Potters' Market
The biggest pottery exhibition and sale in New Zealand.
Overview
Now in its seventh year, the annual Clay Works Potters' Market rounds up established and emerging local potters to sell a diverse range of work. The event is often referred to as the biggest pottery exhibition and sale in New Zealand.
This year the event on Friday, 7 and Saturday, 8 May will see more than 40 artists exhibit new creations at St Columba Church Hall in Grey Lynn. Organisers have also hinted that the quality of items will be better than previous years, with lockdown proving fruitful for the potters who have their own studios and kilns.
The annual event is the main fundraiser for St Columba Church and its community work. Entry is by gold coin koha.
