Cloudy Bay Sail Away
A pop-up inspired by one of New Zealand's oldest wine regions.
Overview
Is there anything Aucklanders love more than a pop-up? Here's one to get really excited about as Cloudy Bay's phenomenally popular Sail Away returns once again. This time around the transformation moves to City Works Depot's very own Odettes Eatery from 1-17 November.
The Odettes restaurant and courtyard will be transformed into a wine lover's paradise inspired by one of New Zealand's oldest wine regions. Visitors can enjoy a menu designed by Odettes head chef Jonah Huang that heroes local ingredients from Marlborough. Each dish will be matched with a wine from Cloudy Bay. To complement the new menu, the team at Odettes team have crafted two brunch cocktails.
While sitting in the temporarily redesigned Odettes courtyard, those attending the Sail Away sessions will experience the essence of Marlborough amongst the warm natural timbers and greenery styling elements that have been added to embody New Zealand's natural beauty. Guests at the pop-up will also be given the chance to shuck their own oysters under the guidance of chef Jonah.
The Cloudy Bay Sail Away sessions will run between 3-6pm Thursday to Saturday and will play host to a different live music act including Helen Corry, AschRose, Taotua and Fare Thee Well.
