Cori Gonzalez-Macuer - White Background Confused Face

A comedy festival must see for those with a taste for the dry, witty, and awkwardly understated.

Overview

Born in Chile, but with a demeanor that is so awkward that it is plainly obvious he grew up in Wellington, Cori is fresh from a string of shows across the USA, and a lead role in What We Do In The Shadows.

Probably the least try-hard comedian you will ever see, his jokes are likely to be delivered with little to no expression and an understanding of New Zealand culture that will make you cringe more than thinking about the nights you used to spend at Margaritas Bar on Wednesdays.

The Billy T Award winner from 2006, CGM's 2015 show will delve into the world of the comedian stereotype (hedonism, depression, unoriginal show names and standard poster designs). CGM will perform in Auckland at The Basement from the 13th to the 16th of May and is a must see for those with a taste for the dry, witty, and awkwardly understated.
