Overview

You've heard of a slow cooked meal, but have you ever heard of one as slow as the Crowd Grown Feast? The world-first event has had some of its diners preparing for weeks. Dinner guests are assigned a specific ingredient which they need to grow or produce in time for the meal prep.

Mimicking the growing trends of crowdsourcing and crowdfunding, Crowd Grown is a dining experience for 100 people who have all contributed to the meal in some way. The diners hand over their assigned ingredients, which are then whipped up into a dinner for the guests, who will eat the crowdsourced meal at the silos of Wynyard Quarter.
