Overview

Following in the footsteps of Wellington's favourite dog-friendly fundraiser, Crowlers for Canines will see Garage Project kindly crack open two kegs with all proceeds going directly to SPCA New Zealand.

Donate by the crowler, flagon or tasting flight and hang out with heaps of cool doggos at the Kingsland taproom. There will be dog-themed brews and the event will continue under Level 2 and at Level 1 restrictions with all of the appropriate measures in place.

Every year, the SPCA's 40 centres across New Zealand receive more than 45,000 animals through their doors as well as 14,000 animal welfare complaints. The SPCA relies almost entirely on public donations, with only a little bit of funding coming from the government.

The first Crowlers for Canines event is taking place on Saturday, 26 September. Matching outfits are highly encouraged.
