Culley's Smoke & Spice Festival

Meat lovers have another event to circle on the calendar. The Culley's Smoke & Spice Festival is set to land on November 21, bringing smoky barbecue, hot sauce and ice-cool bevies to Auckland's waterfront.

The one-day event is a partnership between local hot sauce makers Culley's and mega protein festival Meatstock Auckland. Ticket holders will get to sample low 'n' slow barbecue from local vendors, learn insider tips and tricks at masterclass demonstrations, and enter a jalapeño eating contest. If that all sounds a bit too spicy, Epic Beer will be pouring its range of craft brews and Jack Daniel's will line up some Tennessee whiskey to cool things off.

If you really want to remember the occasion, tattoo artist Kes Kenney from Two Hands Tattoo will be dishing out fresh ink for free throughout the day. The festival will be held across three sessions.
