Overview

Cult Couture promises to be a spectacular evening of awe-inspiring avant-garde fashion. The premier event of the Southside Arts Festival will be hosted by Jackie Clarke, and will feature top entertainers and dance choreographed by Aotearoa’s very own Parris Goebel.

Cult Couture will combine theatre, music, dance and fashion and celebrate the cultural flavours, innovation and originality emanating from New Zealand's fashion industry. Designers will meld art and culture with high-end fashion to create inspiring one-off garments for the show.

The Cult Couture Awards encourage designers to push boundaries and create truly unique garments. The awards will be judged by some of New Zealand’s premier fashion icons including Dan Ahwa, fashion editor for Canvas Magazine and NZ Herald, Tina Moore, editor for Remix Magazine and Doris de Pont for New Zealand Fashion Museum.

Don't miss the exciting chance to see high-end fashion for yourself, and mix and mingle with the fashion-pack up close and personal at the Southside Arts Festival.
