Overview

The second to last evening of The Whiskey Live series see David Dallas grab the mic, where he is sure to smoothly deliver a set filled with his trademark home grown content. On the back of the Frontline MC's second solo album, The Rose Tint, Dallas has arguably established himself as the leader of New Zealand hip hop.

After signing with New York's Duck Down records, home to hip hop heavyweights such as Cypress Hill and KRS One, the Papatoetoe wordsmith has begun to gain international recognition for his work. His latest track, Pay Off, has been on heavy rotation on New Zealand airwaves and is available for free digital download from Soundcloud.

The Dirty Records rapper will be supported by Che Kamikaze and Josh Leys (DJ Automatic) on the night, so get down to The Whiskey and show your support for Dallas before he heads across the ditch on his upcoming Australian Tour.
