Now a days, a quick ferry ride across the Waitemata will see you ensconced in the marvellous world of food, wine and music at the Devonport Food and Wine Festival, 18 & 19 February, 2012
Devonport’s offers a little more than your average food and wine outing. With its glorious harbour views, and snug little roads and buildings, the atmosphere is ripe for relaxed sampling and getting politely sloshed. Add to that a genius line up of some of NZ’s best chilled summer music makers nad your have yourself a good day out. This years’ musical line up include Che Fu, Boh Runga, dDub, and Phoenix Foundation – worth the $30 ticket price by themselves. If that’s not enough funny men Andrew Clay and Jeremy Elwood will be front and centre to make you snort your Pinot Gris out your nose.
Pre-purchased tickets are $30 per day, gates sales for $35 on Saturday/$30 on Sunday. Get your ticket early and you’ll go into the draw to win a clutch of quite good prizes: an LG 37" LEDTV, two nights for two at Carrington Resort, and an F&P kitchen package.
