Dinner by Bike
A truly moving three-course dining experience.
Overview
Auckland's favourite progressive dining experience where participants peddle themselves from course to course is back again for 2018's Restaurant Month.
Following an eight-kilometre lap of Auckland's inner city, the Bike Auckland-hosted event will take you from entrees at Southern American-style soul food haven Miss Clawdy to contemporary Indian restaurant 1947 Eatery on Federal Street for the main course, Spanish tapas bar Madriz on Snickel Lane for dessert, and finally a post-dinner drink overlooking the harbour at Parasol & Swing along the Viaduct. Most biking will be along Auckland's cycleways, with some turns down a few quiet roads.
BYO bike or hire a free e-bike through Big Street Bikers at registration. (Limited bikes available and are first come first served.) Dinner by Bike will be running twice daily on every Tuesday of August. The progressive dinner is a fundraising event for Bike Auckland, a non-profit which works hard to make Auckland more bikeable.
