Documentary Edge Festival 2013

Australasia’s biggest documentary festival is back with a weighty programme of over 40 local and international films. This year's selection include Academy Award nominations and films which premiered at Cannes and Sundance Festivals as well as a fair share of New Zealand documentaries, that all inspire and challenge audiences and hopefully bring change to a number of global and closer to home issues that face us today.

Overview

Australasia’s biggest documentary festival, the Documentary Edge Festival, is back with a weighty programme of over 40 local and international films.

This year's selection include Academy Award nominations and films which premiered at Cannes and Sundance Festivals. There are also many which have picked up international festival awards and a fair few New Zealand documentaries. This year’s Culture Vultures section has a diverse selection of music-based documentaries while Spotlight programming on the American Dream and Sports reflect the current themes and conversations in the world we live in.
