Overview
Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actress, author, philanthropist and theme park owner Dolly Parton will perform two shows in New Zealand next February as part of the Australasian Blue Smoke World Tour.
The visit will be Parton's first time down under in over three decades. It will support her latest album Blue Smoke, which is set for release through her own label Dolly Records in the not too distant future. Parton has been at it since the mid-60s, releasing 41 albums and selling 100-odd million of them in the process.
Dolly super-fans will be pleased to know that certain VIP packages for the tour allow access to her personal wardrobe and instruments, plus a backstage tour and meet and greet with the lady herself.
