So you think you're the the next Monet or Picasso? Or maybe you can only draw the Pak 'n Save stick man? Either way, pick up a pencil and head down to Drawing Club on Queen's Wharf.

Start ticking off your new year's resolutions. The creative and social Drawing Club is back once again this year for three, two-hour sessions on Thursday afternoons. Meet with other aspiring artists and expressionists in the relaxing setting of the Auckland harbour at sunset and get inspired. Expect to see models and still life backdrops to get your creative juices flowing.

All skill levels are welcome, so whether you hustle up some friends or go at it alone, it's a great excuse to sharpen your pencils and get drawing. The sessions are free but require prior registration online. Get in quick, places are limited.
