Overview

Dust Pilgrim - A Tale of Freedom is the latest offering from the award-winning team at Red Leap Theatre. Previous productions from Red Leap Theater include The Arrival in 2009 (winner of five Chapman Awards including Most Original Production and Production of the Year) and Paper Sky in 2011 (winner of two Chapman Awards including Most Original Production). They describe themselves as 'leading image and movement based theatre company' and have toured their work extensively in Australasia and South-East Asia.

Dust Pilgrim promises a production that is full of magical realism and a return to Red Leap's "hand-made beginnings". According to Red Leap this original script follows a young woman who is "trapped in a life built on dust and shifting sands"  and "burns her world to the ground in a daring bid for freedom".  The show is a three-hander featuring Alison Bruce, Ella Becroft and Tom Eason.
