Overview

Fans of black comedy are in for a treat later this month with the return of Irish stand up comedian Dylan Moran, back to entertain audiences with his hilariously sardonic wit and observational humour.

Most well-known for his role as the star and co-creator of hit comedy series 'Black Books,' Moran played grumpy and constantly hungover book shop owner, Bernard Black.

He has also appeared in cult zombie film Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Run Fat Boy Run (2007). More recently he co-starred in A Film With Me In It (2008). Despite usually playing a hopelessly flawed and disheveled sort with a talent for seeing the negative side of life, he imbues so much wit and charisma into his characters, you just can't help but love every one of them.

Along with TV and film roles, Moran has had huge success with his stand up comedy. He became the youngest person to win a Perrier Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Festival at the age of 24 and has toured shows throughout the US, Europe and Australasia to sold out audiences.

Dylan Moran brings his fourth worldwide tour aptly titled 'Yeah Yeah' to New Zealand, performing two shows in Auckland on August 24 and 25 at the ASB theatre.

His previous three shows sold out in New Zealand and the current two are filling up fast so be in quick!
