Overview

It's been 20 years since Bic Runga released her first album Drive in 1997. So rather than pining over the disappearance of two long decades, we encourage you to head along to her anniversary show to bask in the nostalgia of your youthful days.

Don't worry, we're all just as shocked as you are, it feels like only yesterday we were dancing ethereally to 'Sway' in crop tops and Stan Smiths. Just as the '90s wagon comes full circle, so is the resurgence of great music. Bic will be performing in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch from October 20 and each night will include all the songs from her album Drive, as well as a few other hits from her lauded recording career.

Recently Bic was nominated for a APRA Silver Scroll award along with Lorde, Nadia Reid, Aldous Harding and Chelsea Jade for 'Close Your Eyes'. She previously won the same award for 'Sway' 20 years ago. It just goes to show, great songs will become timeless.
