Overview
Consider yourself a bit of a movie buff? CBD restaurant and farmer's market, Scarecrow, is hosting a fun event for Auckland Restaurant Month that is entirely movie themed. Prepared by the Scarecrow team and guest chef Arno Jullien, each dish has been created with reference to a particular movie: Ratatouille, Forest Gump, Eat Pray Love, Bridget Jones Diary, Eat Drink Man Woman, The Godfather and Harry Potter.
The five-course meal will feature canapés of gumbo and mini margherita pizzas, followed by potato and leek soup, chicken and cucumber salad, spaghetti with meatballs and finished with a delectable treacle tart with cream.
Diners are more than welcome to dress the part as their favourite movie character for the event.
The $75 ticket price includes canapés, amuse-bouche and three courses with two matching wines.
