Overview

Los Angeles-based quartet, Far East Movement return to New Zealand later this month.

The group cancelled their previous Australasian tour and will no doubt be itching to perform to their New Zealand audience.

The American hip hop band based in Los Angeles formed in 2003 and consist of Kev Nish (Kevin Nishimura), Prohgress (James Roh), J-Splif (Jae Choung), and DJ Virman (Virman Coquia). After their song 'Round Round' was featured in the film, The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift, the group shot to glory. Far East Movement's handiwork has since been included on network shows including CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Entourage and Gossip Girl.

The group's single 'Like A G6' hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and on iTunes and they also earned the prestige of being the first Asian-American group to earn a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
