Fat Boy Slim, Skrillex, Die Antwoord and Porter Robinson

Featuring one of the original party starters, through to the new generation of leading music producers, New Zealand's Rhythm and Vines have teamed up with Australia's Future Touring to deliver possibly one of the most eclectic, mashed up lineups Auckland has ever seen. With General Admission tickets all gone, and only limited seated tickets available, the tin roof of Vector Arena will surely be tested with some of the world's best producers of dance, hip hop and yes, NZ's most loved but hated genre dubstep. For the lucky few who secured VIP upgrades, it was announced last night that the popular Puma Social will be present, which will indeed provide plenty of contest and amusement up in amongst the VIP area.

Overview

Featuring one of the original party starters, through to the new generation of leading music producers, New Zealand's Rhythm and Vines have teamed up with Australia's Future Entertainment to deliver possibly one of the most eclectic, mashed up lineups Auckland has ever seen, and is to surely be one of the biggest shows of Summer 2011/2012.

Fat Boy Slim, the self professed video jockey has more bangers than New World Victoria Park, and provides the headline billing for the event at Vector Arena. In support, and most likely in higher demand than most acts for the younger generation, three times grammy award winning producer Skrillex, aka Sonny Moore, has developed his own niche sound of music that translates into one of the best live shows on the circuit. His interactive robot stage show will surely be sponsored by Huggies Nappies as the thousands pack themselves to miraculous production levels of Skrillex.

Die Antwoord have calved their own way along with their unique sound of blistering rap-raving hip hop, and last time were here they promised they would come back with more swagger. Let's hope so. And lastly but not least, young 19 year old producer Porter Robinson supports the rest, having recently being signed under the wing of Skrillex's label OWSLA.

Ticket sales have already been strong for this event, with an added value of VIP* up above the hustle bustle of the all ages gig down below, this will surely be one of the bigger Fridays Auckland will see this year.

*VIP has now exhausted its allocation. The GA Floor is sold out with only some seated tickets remaining. Don't miss out.
