If you're an 09 burger aficionado you've probably tucked into one of Fat Daddy's famous smashies at some point — the notoriously secretive burger pop-up is known for inspiring long lines during its stints around the city.

Well, we've got great news. Fat Daddy's will be popping up at Takapuna gastropub The Elephant Wrestler on upcoming Saturdays throughout the rest of summer – and the team is putting on an epic deal to celebrate.

Fat Daddy's Bottomless Burgers, Beer + Bubbles is the Takapuna hotspot's new Saturday offering, which will see you tuck into all-you-can-eat smash burgers for two hours — washed down with bottomless Export Gold beer or prosecco.

Running from 1pm-5pm every Saturday until March 18 this is a bottomless deal guaranteed to put your eating and drinking skills to the test — all for only $55 per person.

On the menu? The classic Smash Daddy: a heady mix of smashed Wagyu beef pattie, American cheese, pickles, onion and Daddy's burger sauce. For the vegans there will also be a plant-based option: the Not-Your-Daddy combines smashed planted-based Impossible pattie, lettuce, tomato, pickles, vegan aioli, mustard and ketchup.
