Overview

Fat Freddy's Drop love a good feed. Their motto is; 'The band that eats together, stays together.' Join the boys for a seated dinner featuring, seafood platters, large sharing plates, fresh fish plus a 'lamb shoulder stuffed with mutton bird, caramelised onion, olive, parsley and thyme'.

On June 1, Ostro Bar & Brasserie is hosting a mash up of internationally renowned homegrown heroes Fat Freddy's Drop and Michelin-starred Chef Josh Emett. It's set to be a night of good music and good food featuring two of New Zealand's finest in each field.

Josh Emett is one of New Zealand's best chefs and is Michelin Starred, which means one thing; he know his food.

The first part of the evening will see Emett and the band introduce the menu, talking about inspirations and their love of food and music.

The second part of the evening will see The Fat Freddy's DJ spinning some of the band's favourite tunes while the rest of the 7 piece take to the kitchen making canapés from their worldly travels every hour on the hour (featuring their trademark dish - Paua Wontons).

For any Fat Freddy's or Emmett fan it's a no-brainer to head along. Call (09) 3029888 to book or head to their Facebook page.
