A free music festival will take over Federal Street on Friday, 12 April. Presented by technology brand Huawei to celebrate its new P30 Series device, the Fed Street Festival will feature performances from rising local acts and an array of food and drink options to keep you charging in the moshpit.

The all-ages event will run from 4-10pm with performances from reggae funk band Sons Of Zion, legendary hip hop vocalist Che-Fu, 'Don't Worry 'Bout It' hit-maker Kings, powerhouse rapper JessB, and Kora frontman Laughton Kora.

Federal Street favourites Depot, MASU, Huami and Fed Deli will be on hand to provide festival sustenance and several pop-up bars and eateries will line the footpath of the inner city precinct.
