Overview

Federal Street is rated as one of our city's ultimate foodie locations and boasts at least half a dozen establishments which have to be included in anyone's “best restaurant in Auckland” discussion. Provided you have an affinity for phenomenal gustatory experiences (tasty food) and a reasonable amount of disposable income, you’ve probably sampled the fine fare at a few of these spots already.

If not, here’s your chance.

Skycity is bringing back Auckland's favourite street party - the Federal Street Festival, featuring local restaurants and bars such as Masu, Federal Delicatessen, Bellota, Gusto and The Grill as well as non locals Clevedon Oysters and Andy's Burger Bar. These bars and eateries will be setting up stalls on the curb and serving up tasters of their most delicious and gourmet menu items at street food prices. Tiki Taane, DJ Arii Jade and Boh Runga are entertaining on Friday and local legends Sola Rosa are providing the tunes on the Saturday.

Entry is free but you best believe it’ll get busy quick, so pop down to Fed Street early to kick your weekend off the right way.
