Overview

The annual Festival for the Future is back with a brand new lineup of inspiring speakers, engaging seminars and workshops and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

On August 4, registration for the festival opens to the public in the BNZ Foyer, followed by the opening ceremony in the evening. The event runs until Sunday evening and will be held at the Aotea Centre.

Notable speakers this year include Guy Ryan who is former Young New Zealander of the Year (which is a pretty incredible claim to fame), Fatumata Bah who works as a young leader for the Office of Ethnic Community to empower women, tech startup mogul Toby Carr who has set up his own successful business DeXTech, the CEO of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship Yoseph Ayele, and many more.

With a setup of some great food trucks on the day, you can enjoy some delicious food before getting worked up in a political debate and finish the day with some live entertainment.

If you love engaging with fellow Aucklanders who enjoy discussing the future and getting involved in exciting projects, then this is the festival for you.
