Flow in the Dark Yoga
Set in the dark to a thumping playlist and with glowsticks galore, get ready for this Friday night flow to break all your yogi expectations.
Overview
You might not think of a powerful yoga flow class as your first activity of choice come Friday night, but what if we told you it was a lights off, beats pumping, glow-in-the-dark kind of class?
Hot yoga studio Basecamp Power Yoga in Westmoreland is bringing the heat to Friday night with their new Flow in the Dark class, taking place at 6.30pm on Friday, April 8.
Led by Basecamp founder Cat Thompson and instructor Barbara Bent, this class is set to break all your expectations about serious yoga classes — no incense and or chanting to be seen here.
Instead, Flow in the Dark will see the studio's iconic Aoraki room lit up like a 90s rave with black lights, glow sticks and loud music to power you through. Non-alcoholic bevvies from Pals will be served after class for you to rehydrate.
Class-goers are encouraged to wear white and light clothing to really set off the blacklights — remember those days?
Register now before spots fill up - the class is $35 per head and runs for an hour.
