Overview

Fly My Pretties, a collobaration of breakthrough and established New Zealand musicians, is going on a country-wide tour. The brainchild of Barnaby Weir (Black Seeds) and Mikee Tucker (Loop Records), the band's latest tour, The Homeland Tour, aims to take Fly My Pretties back to its musical roots, with a sound similiar to their first two live albums - Live at Bats and The Return Of.

This tour's cast includes a mixture of established and newer artists. This year's cast includes Anika Moa, Mel Parsons, Ria Hall, Barnaby Weir, Jarney Murphy, Kara Gordon, Louis McDonald, Mark Vanilau, Mike Fabulous, Nigel Patterson, Ryan Prebble & Shaun Blackwell.

The band will be travelling to 18 towns (including two nights at Auckland's Mercury Theatre) to perform and record their new album plus performing some of their classics.
