A huge mobile food court is coming to Tamaki Makaurau, fellow Aucklanders.

Forget LED lights, annoying shoppers scraping past your table with their obnoxious trundlers and that ever-familiar, ever-agitating *ding* sound of major fast food joints indicating that the order of their greasy, greasy fare is up.

Nope, Food Space will be a spacious, outdoor food court is lit by the sun (or the stars, depending on the time of day) and features all your favourite pop-up and mobile truck food vendors like The Roaming Dive, Stumpy's Pizza, Tiger Burger, The Food Truck, Acho, Blooms Pretzels, Fritz's Wieners, Langos, Ryan's Kitchen, Toro Churro, Lalele Organics and Sweet Val's and Co.

Local DJs Nyntee, Isaac Aesili and Dylan C will set the scene, and the Food Space bar will help wash everything down, serving craft beer, cider and organic drinks.

The inaugural food gathering is locked in to take place on September 12 from 11am until late on Daldy Street. Head on over with an empty stomach and a soon-to-be slightly emptier wallet.
