For the Love of Food Trucks

Overview

The Auckland Food Truck Collective and La Cigale have come together for the ultimate food truck event. For the Love of Food Trucks is a culmination of some of the city's best and most beloved food vendors. It's happening this Thursday, 6 September at 69 St George's Bay Road, Parnell.

Whether your appetite is for the city's finest fries from Double Dutch or the epic gourmet toastie action of Guerilla Grill, this event will fulfil your food truck dreams.

Other offerings on the lineup are Playdough Pizza, hearty meats from Black Stag Deli, dumplings from The Rolling Pin, banh mi from Nom Nom and Peaches Hot Chicken, to name but a few. Those with a sweet tooth or simply who believe that dessert counts as dinner will not be disappointed as Lalele Organic Gelato and Grownup Donuts will be onsite to sate your sugar craving. Wash it all down with Beer Jerk beer or wine from the bar at La Cigale.

The event starts at 5pm and runs until 9pm, rain or shine. A word of warning, though, peak times do apply and wait times can be longer between 6pm and 7.30pm. Get there early (or late) to beat the queues.
