Overview

Newmarket's German-style beer hall is best-known for its massive steins and hearty fare like crispy pork knuckle and six-stack chicken snitty towers. This season The Bavarian is bringing a slice of Stuttgart's annual frühlingsfest spring celebration to Auckland.

A seasonal set menu is the centrepiece of the offerings — it includes oversized pretzels, chicken schnitzel topped with mushroom sauce, roasted pumpkin, beetroot and goat's cheese salad and apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.

The $69 per person price tag also comes with a two-hour bottomless drinks package to wash it all down. Take your pick from the range of New Zealand beers and ciders and The Bavarian's new lineup of cocktails on tap, including strawberry margaritas and apple martinis.
