Overview
On a recent tour supporting their third album, Auckland-band Great North somehow managed to neglect their hometown. So before half the band head off to Europe for a while, they’ll perform a show in the big smoke.
The folk/country five-piece won the award for Best Folk Album at last year's NZ Music Awards for their second album Halves. Their latest effort Up In Smoke was produced by David Parker at Little Monster Studios and received a glowing response from local media, including a (sort of) comparison to Bruce Springsteen and four stars from the NZ Herald.
They’ll be joined by their friends Glass Owls and Anthonie Tonnon.
