Make the most of our beautiful harbour and experience Guy Fawkes a little differently this year. The good folk at Auckland Sea Kayaks are hosting a trip across the Waitemata Harbour to the shores of Rangitoto Island this week.

Paddle from the bays to Auckland's most photographed volcano. Bask in the setting evening sun and share a classic barbecue dinner, included in your ticket. Get your camera ready for the spectacular city views from Rangitoto summit. Once the twilight falls, sit back and enjoy the show. With unobscured views of the fireworks, this will be a Guy Fawkes to remember. To wrap up the night, you will make your way back to St Helier's in the dark guided by the professionals.

This annual excursion takes place on 5 November and tickets are $195. The ticket price includes kayak, dry bag, life jacket rental, a trained guide as well as dinner.
