Winter doesn't have to mean wearing sweatpants and binging on Netflix every night. If you're dying to get your sparkling mini-dress or finest suit out of the closet for a night of glitz and glam, the Highlife Winter Social will provide just the opportunity.

The social will be hosted by Auckland party planners Highlife Entertainment and held at The Wharf on the North Shore waterfront. The organisers promise fine food, top-shelf liquor and wine, and a mix of DJs offering house and RnB to keep the dance floor humming. The turntable lineup will include Karn Hall, Jarrod Phillips, Alex Q, Dougal Swift, Tyler Christie and more. This year's event is poised to raise the bar, with "a new look, feel and atmosphere like nothing before," according to Highlife.

The venue has a strict capacity, which means tickets are limited and will likely sell out. The Highlife Winter Social is on Saturday, June 30 from 6pm. Tickets cost $70, available on iTicket.
