Overview
See the films of Alfred Hitchcock the way they were meant to be seen, as part of a cinematic tribute to the Master of Suspense. Beginning Saturday, November 7 at Auckland's Academy Cinemas, the Hitchcock Festival will feature 11 of the beloved filmmaker's most celebrated titles by putting them up on the big screen once more. Film fans, you'd be psycho to miss it.
Spanning two full decades of spine-tingling masterworks, standout titles on the festival program include Strangers On a Train, Rear Window and North by Northwest, as well as the film that made an entire generation afraid to take a shower. You can also catch a special Tippi Hedren double feature screening of Birds and Marnie or watch Hitch's personal favourite, Shadow of a Doubt.
