Overview

Got Friday night dinner plans, but nothing to do afterwards? You're not alone — unless you're keen to wait in a freezing cold line for the clubs of Ponsonby, Auckland's late-night options can be lacking.

This week that all changes, with a party hosted by international ballroom collective House of IMAN and whiskey brand Johnnie Walker at Imperial Lane on Friday, May 20. Perfectly positioned for those looking for somewhere to go after dining or drinking in the city, the shindig is set to be a celebration of the pioneers of New Zealand's vogue community.

There will be theatrics, dancing, and — according to organisers — a "who's who of the LGBTQA+ community". Speciality Johnnie Walker highball cocktails will be slung from the bar, including elderflower, lemon and green tea flavours.

A limited amount of tickets can be booked online, otherwise you can win your way in through the official Instagram page.
