Calling all dog lovers — boy do we have a treat for you. Ever dreamed of spending your day surrounded by adorable pooches? Well, it's your lucky day as this Saturday the aptly-titled Central Bark in Parnell is hosting its inaugural Hug a Pug event.
What's the catch? Nothing at all. For a gold coin donation you can cuddle until your heart's content or until you can't fit any more pugs in your arms. Not only do you get to share your love with furry friends but the proceeds are going to an incredible cause, helping NZ Pug Rescue to continue doing a great job caring for all their doggos.
There will also be a raffle and prizes to be won, though unfortunately, there will be no pugs up for grabs. So, if you're in need of a cuddle or two, or ten, then make sure to drop by. You'd be barking mad not to.
