Overview
On April 15, a party is to take place and you don't want to miss it. The I Love Ugly residence in Newmarket, are to host A Label Called Success in what is sure to be a night of good times with good people. As musical delights unify with delectable beverages and trendy threads meet creative networking, the night will feature new live music from Manuel Darquart as well as tunes from A Band Called Success and Golden Mane.
A Label Called Success is of course engineered by Connor Nestor and Jordan Arts, the ever creative duo who established the venture in a bid to uncover unreleased music from musicians and producers around the world, that otherwise may not have ever been heard. Together they take songs they love and utilize the platform of A Label Called Success to share that music with the world.
"We are the enthusiastic friend to the shy talented friend," says Arts.
It's all positivity and chasing dreams for the boys as they work hard toward success by showcasing good beats and highlight the determination of others, inspiring creatives to dream big and be heard.
In concurrence the makers and minds behind fashion label I Love Ugly, who are holding the event, have too been go-getters from day one, now reputable as one of New Zealand's trendiest and most respected street wear labels. Connor told Concrete Playground the pair can't wait to do the event with the fashion company, "They are one of the most inspirational companies in NZ in terms of how they operate and what they've achieved in the time they've been going. We're delighted to be able to do an event with them with artists who are making great music."
