Overview
James Blunt, the ex-army captain with a high-pitched breathy tone and owner of one the most hilarious (presumably fake) Twitter accounts, will land in our fine country at the end of May for one show.
The jaunt down under will support his fourth studio album Moon Landing, which was produced by Tom Rothrock - the man behind his 2005 breakthrough Back to Bedlam. Since its release last October it has reached the number one spot in Australia, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and spurred one single, 'Bonfire Heart'.
Despite consistently receiving flack from music lovers worldwide, Blunt's stats reign supreme. He can boast four number one singles, 17 million albums and 20 million singles sold and five Grammy nominations, topped with a large number of awards wins and nominations.
For his appearance he will be joined by a full band and Australian country-duo Busby Marou.
