Overview
Coinciding with a headline performances at Australia’s West Coast Blues & Roots and Deni Blues & Roots festivals, guitar maestro John Mayer will unleash the riffs and all the hits from his six album catalogue for an Auckland crowd during a one-off performance at Vector Arena on Tuesday 29 April, 2014.
The show will support the release of his new record, Paradise Valley, which was produced under the guise of Don Was, also a collaborator of the Rolling Stones, B.B. King and Bonnie Raitt. 2013 has seen Mayer kick off his first tour in three years, marking his return to the live stage after coming down with a throat granuloma, which previously forced him to take a hiatus from performing.
Mayer will be joined by a seven-piece band and Vermont rockers Grace Potter & The Nocturnals as support.
