Overview

Garage Project is bringing the party to the people with its sixth annual Kegs for Christmas event. This festive day is not only for everyone wanting to get jolly with a pint in hand, but brings cheer to the wider Auckland community through Everybody Eats.

By sharing a drink, you'll be helping out the charity fundraiser for Everybody Eats, an organisation that's all about reducing food waste, food poverty and social isolation in New Zealand. Everybody Eats serves restaurant quality three-course meals prepared by volunteer chefs. The team takes good food that's heading for the bin and shares it along K' Road and in Onehunga with people suffering food poverty. In gathering people together to share a meal at large tables, Everybody Eats is also encouraging warmer, more welcoming communities.

The Garage Project is a brewery that makes a variety of beers, from classics to those that push the boundaries. The brewery's home in Auckland is located in Kingsland, on New North Road, which is where this event will go down.

Kegs for Christmas is free to enter and runs from midday to 10pm on Saturday, December 14.
