Kelmarna Spring Seedling Sale

Overview

Spring is the perfect season to start preparing your vegetable patch for summer. Every October Herne Bay's organic garden throws a massive seedling sale to support their educational efforts and build positive connections across the community.

After selling more than 1500 punnets at last year's sale the team at Kelmarna Organic Community Gardens have stepped up production for 2020 with more seedling varieties and volume than ever before. Expect to find everything from herb and vegetable seedlings, salad greens, edible flowers, native herbs, flowers for pollinators and many, many tomatoes.

The team from Kokako Organic Coffee will once again be donating the delicious caffeine to fuel your Saturday morning plant shopping. There'll also be a selection of Kings Seeds, fresh produce from the gardens, home baking, and delicious pastries from Grey Lynn's Bread and Butter bakery and cafe.
