One man, one night, and the second best sandwiches in Auckland — after a brief hiatus, Club Red is coming back to Ponsonby for an after-hours pop-up. On Friday, 2 August, self-proclaimed "connoisseur of the rinse," James Corlett will be serving mouthwatering sammies out of the Egg and Spoon kitchen. Roll up from 6pm to nab one of the three filled creations, including braised beef cheek, slow-cooked pork shoulder and sautéed mushroom. They'll be $12 a pop and available until late.
