Overview
On August 4, West Auckland brewery Liberty Brewing Co. will present a selection of unfiltered beers from its Beervana lineup. Seven beers will be pouring in their purest form — unfiltered, unprocessed, live and acoustic. Four will from Liberty's core range while four will be limited and new releases. It's a hazy, juicy start on the Road to Beervana.
Auckland beer lovers had their opportunity to quaff one-off concoctions during Auckland Beer Week and epic beer celebration GABS. On it August 11-12 it will be Wellington's turn to show the national beer community how it's done with over 60 featured breweries, interactive themed bars, collaborations, and damn good food as part of the country's largest craft beer festival: Beervana. While not everyone can make it to the capital, every year Road to Beervana takes the beer celebration nationwide with tastings, paired degustations, tap takeovers, pop-ups, and general ex-beer-iences.
