Fancy finding out which hairdresser in Auckland really does the best cut and colour, and partying with celebrities, VIPs and the fashion clique? Well you’re in luck – we have a double pass to giveaway to an extravaganza of fashion, creativity, live hairdressing, colour and style, aka the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Awards.

The Awards are the most prestigious event in New Zealand hairdressing and have been going for 20 years. They recognise New Zealand hairdressers who push the boundaries in hair colour and design and demonstrate creativity, fashion-forward styling and innovation. Entrants are judged on creative, fashion-forward hair colour, an innovative and striking cut, inspired hair styling and and their overall get-up including make-up and styling. While entrants come from around the country we're told there is a serious Auckland force in the running for these awards (12 of the 20 finalists hail from our fair city), so you'll definitely be able to review local talent firsthand, while also getting a heads up on cutting edge colour trends.

The judges for this year’s Awards are New Zealand-born, Australian resident Brad Ngata as well as Damian Rinaldo and Caterina DiBiase also from Australia.

These awards will be presented at a glamorous event at Vector Arena in Auckland, Saturday 22 February. More than 1,000 people from the hairdressing & fashion industries, VIPs, celebrities and media attend the pre-event cocktail party, awards show and the after-party.
