Louisa Afoa: I'll see you at Orion

Overview
In the 1950s, Afoa's great aunty and uncle migrated to New Zealand from Samoa and settled in Orion Street. In the 1970s, her father followed that journey and found his home on the same street.
I'll see you at Orion looks at spaces of personal significance to Afoa exploring the ideas of place and home.
Graduating from AUT with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 2012 and earning Honours in 2016, Afoa is an artist who works in time-based media to explore the idea, and politics of, the 'other'.
Afoa will be hosting a wrapping paper workshop like you've never seen before, exploring identity through printing and collage on Saturday 9 September, between 10:30 am and 12 pm. Get along.
