Renowned as a celebration of greed, indulgence and gluttony, some mightn't know that Mardi Gras (literally 'Fat Tuesday') in French celebrates the finer, more consumable things in life with tradition, giving observers a free pass to indulge in as many fatty treats as possible before the fasting of Lent begins.

Not ones for factual inaccuracies, Mardi Gras at Orleans is no exception — kicking things off with themed eats and liquor across Roukai Lane's three venues — Orleans, REC and Racket Bar. And once dinner is out of the way there'll be live music, Mardi Gras dancers and DJs on hand for late-time delights until the wee hours of the morning.

The lineup includes: Superhero Second Line Band, Sal Valentine (DJ set), Rhapsody Music, Jono Fektious and Seymore.
