Overview

Despite being in the music biz for nearly 25-years, Mariah Carey will perform her first ever show in New Zealand this November.

The appearance comes off the back of releasing her 14th album earlier in the year. The album, Me. I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteus, was apparently named after a self-portrait Carey drew as a 3—year-old. It showcases her five-octave vocal range across 15 tracks.

With the title of the ‘best-selling female artist of all time’ on her CV, the show is guaranteed to be an all out hit fest. She’s sold more than 220 million albums to date and can boast 18 number one singles, including (in brief): ‘Fantasy’, ‘Always Be My Baby’, ‘Hero’, ‘Touch My Body’, ‘One Sweet Day’, and ‘We Belong Together’.
