Overview
Veterans of the New Zealand summer touring circuit, Shapeshifter and Fat Freddy’s Drop, will headline the inaugural Matakanaval festival on Thursday 2 January, 2014 at the Matakana Country Park.
Attendees planning on making the trip up North will be able to take advantage of a return bus leaving from Auckland directly to the festival. Overnight camping will also be available close to the event site.
Other acts due to perform include multi-instrumental futurists Olmecha Supreme and the love child of Nick D and Dick Johnson, Weird Together.
