Overview

Experimental sludge godfathers Melvins will play one show in Auckland this December, celebrating their 30th anniversary as a band.

In their own words, the band has released a “shitload” of albums over the past 30 years, the most recent being a covers collection called Everybody Loves Sausages. Their 19th effort titled Tres Cabrones is in the pipeline for release this November, seeing a reunion with original drummer Mike Dillard behind the kit, and his replacement Dale Crover moving to bass for the album’s recording.

Melvins will play Auckland's Powerstation on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
